We are currently searching for a Regional Lean / Continuous Improvement Manager for our ECFC Strategic Business Unit to be based out of our New Bedford, MA manufacturing location supporting 2 sites locally. Reporting to the Lean Director, this person will be responsible for fostering, promoting, and deploying the Atkore Business System (ABS) as a change agent for continuous improvement at multiple facilities.
ABS comprises three fundamental pillars: Strategy, People, & Process.
Those business system pillars are supported by Lean Daily Management (LDM), how we manage and sustain the business that we have today, and Strategy Deployment Process (SDP), how we build the business that we aspire to become.
The Regional Lean / Continuous Improvement Manager will be responsible for deploying Lean methodology including strategy design and deployment, training, mentoring, and coaching of subject matter expertise, and working closely cross functionally with Sales, Customer Service, Warehousing, Production, Maintenance, Procurement, Environmental Health & Safety, Finance, Human Resources, and Quality.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and minimum of 7 years of similar work experience in a manufacturing operation. Experience in lean manufacturing or business system-based company as a continuous improvement leader, black belt or similar role is a requirement.
