Job Summary

Our busy meal-prep manufacturing company is contracted to open multiple store fronts over the next 2 years and we are looking for a food-production floor-supervisor who can over see multiple assembly lines and manage a team of 30 or more employees through the help and support of a handful of line supervisors. The successful candidate will be responsible for our B shifts (including weekend shifts), and overseeing the quality control and pace of creating meal portions, assembling meals and keeping a sanitized work area. We are seeking an individual who is committed to quality and perfection, with experience in leadership.

Job Responsibilities

• Managing a team of employees upwards of 30-40 people at a time during the B-shift and Weekend shifts.
• Coaching and leading 6-10 supervisors to help lead the team
• Ensuring that the composed dishes are made according to given recipes and standards
• Maintain a fast pace throughout the day to hit labor & efficiency goals and meet all dedicated timelines
• Ensure that all food prep areas and all food storage areas meet safe manufacturing practices

Job Qualifications

• Food or Manufacturing/Assembly experience
• 5 years Management Experience
• Valid US Driver’s License
• Ability to work on your feet for eight hours or more a day
• Ability to withstand 40°F temperatures for long periods of time
• High level of professionalism
• Comfortable overseeing a large team in a fast-paced production environment
• Excellent verbal communication and organization skills
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds at a time on a regular basis
• Must be able to remain focused on a task, and be able to stay self-motivated

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 50 per week

Experience:

• Crew management: 5 years (Required)
• Food management: 5 years (Preferred)
• Manufacturing: 5 years (Preferred)
