Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Control Manager to join our team. As a Quality Control Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our incoming material and finished product to the customer meet the all company quality standards and comply with all relevant regulations. Prior experience in automotive and green field start up operations are a plus.
Duties:
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and processes to ensure compliance with company and customer guidelines
- Analyze supplier and in house production processes to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess product quality and identify any deviations from specifications
- Collaborate with operations leadership, supplier leadership and customer leadership to resolve quality-related issues and implement preventive measures
- Oversee the documentation of quality control activities, including test results, inspection reports, and non-conformance records
- Train and develop team on quality control procedures, procedures and best practices
- Manage the calibration and maintenance of testing equipment
- Stay up-to-date with industry and customer standards, trends, advancements, and regulatory changes related to quality control
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of QA/QC (Quality Assurance/Quality Control) principles and practices
- Proficiency in analyzing data and identifying any issues or patterns
- Familiarity with automotive manufacturing standards and processes
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and meet deadlines
- Experience in conducting quality inspections or audits
- Knowledge of automotive interiors is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proven ability to work effectively in a multinational team environment
Education and experience: BS in Manufacturing/Mechanical or Industrial Engineering and 5 years of experience.
- Green field start up experience is a plus
- Automotive interior experience is a plus
