Lean Manufacturing Manager leads and designs Lean Manufacturing goals and strategies for improving the operations and processes within the organization. Manages all activities for continuous improvement and performance enhancement. Being a Lean Manufacturing Manager employs Lean methodologies and tools in order to accomplish business objectives. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Lean Manufacturing Manager also requires training and Lean certification through an accredited organization. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Lean Manufacturing Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. We're looking for experienced manufacturing associates who are comfortable working with their hands and occasionally utilizing hand and power tools to ensure our products are manufactured efficiently and within quality control standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Education and Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
1-3 years’ experience in a production environment.
Experience operating hand and power tools, including saws, is preferred in some areas.
Experience in kitting and assembly operations is preferred in some areas.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Able to follow directions
Good interpersonal skills
Able to read and understand verbal and written instructions
Able to use basic hand tools such as drills, screwdrivers, and hammers as needed
Understanding of angles and reading a tape measure preferred
Supervisory Responsibility:
None
Physical Requirements:
Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds,
Frequent lifting is 30 pounds or less.
Frequently Push and pull up to 50 pounds force
