Evaluates all continuous improvement activities and implements plans to optimize performance and processes. Being a Lean Manufacturing Specialist employs Lean methodologies and tools in order to accomplish business objectives. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Lean Manufacturing Specialist also requires training and Lean certification through an accredited organization. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Summary: Experienced in Tool & Die Supervising to build and maintain a wide range of progressive, compound, and secondary dies. Ability to prioritize, manages, and supervises the workload of existing jobs in the tooling area. Tool Room Supervisor will be hands on, leading, guiding and being responsible for all tool room personnel. Work week is a minimum of 40 hours per week and overtime available when needed. Candidate reports directly to the BU Director.
