Lean Manufacturing Specialist assists with the implementation of Lean Manufacturing goals and strategies for improving the operations and processes within the organization. Evaluates all continuous improvement activities and implements plans to optimize performance and processes. Being a Lean Manufacturing Specialist employs Lean methodologies and tools in order to accomplish business objectives. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Lean Manufacturing Specialist also requires training and Lean certification through an accredited organization. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. To be a Lean Manufacturing Specialist typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience. Gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Primary Responsibility: Assist our great team in building beautiful shower doors.
Summary of Job Duties:- Fabricate product correctly to specification.
- Properly package & label finished product for delivery.
- Maintain quality standards and a clean working environment.
- Safely operate equipment while following all safety standards.
- Work as a team to deliver an exceptional quality product.
Experience & Skills Required:- Prior chop saw and drill press preferred, but not required as we will provide training.
- Ability to perform physical work, with the ability to lift up to 75lbs.
- Perform activities such as bending, kneeling, reaching, standing, pushing, and lifting. for up to 3-4 hours without sitting.
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic math and measuring functions.
- Ability to use logical or rational thinking to resolve issues.
Working Conditions:- Works primarily indoors in an open air environment.. Exposure to various temperatures.
- Exposure to sharp and rapid equipment movement, sharp utensils & materials.
- Personal Protective Equipment required.
