Lean Manufacturing Specialist assists with the implementation of Lean Manufacturing goals and strategies for improving the operations and processes within the organization. Evaluates all continuous improvement activities and implements plans to optimize performance and processes. Being a Lean Manufacturing Specialist employs Lean methodologies and tools in order to accomplish business objectives. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Lean Manufacturing Specialist also requires training and Lean certification through an accredited organization. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. To be a Lean Manufacturing Specialist typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience. Gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. This role starts @ $20.50/hr!
Hours are M-F, either 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM OR 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.

- Enter production information into VAI system and close MO’s in accurate and timely manner.
- Enter production labor by MO and maintain tracking for reporting to accounting
- Distribute daily production reports based on date complied
- Apply and maintain WIP inventory. (i.e. adjustments, usage, and control)
- Validate production and material usage for completeness, accuracy and conformance to standards and specifications.
- Confer with supervisors, management and accounting to resolve inaccuracies
- Maintain files of documents used and prepared for 2 complete years plus current year
- Chart production based on compiled SPC line data and other sources for reference by production and management personnel
- Supports and assists Productivity Manager as required with data entry & reporting
