Lean Manufacturing Specialist assists with the implementation of Lean Manufacturing goals and strategies for improving the operations and processes within the organization. Evaluates all continuous improvement activities and implements plans to optimize performance and processes. Being a Lean Manufacturing Specialist employs Lean methodologies and tools in order to accomplish business objectives. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Lean Manufacturing Specialist also requires training and Lean certification through an accredited organization. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. To be a Lean Manufacturing Specialist typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience. Gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. What Will You Get To Do:
- Develop forward-looking projections which includes leading workstreams and financial modeling to forecast the company's annual performance and financial planning
- Develop financial reporting packages and analysis to ensure health of the business and budget
- Assess planning, forecasting, and reporting processes for opportunities for improved efficiency and effectiveness Develop, implement enhance and maintain critical financial reports, processes and analytical tools in alignment with the company's departmental needs and priorities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual performance analysis and forecast
- Work with business units to understand performance, variances, risk, opportunities, and effectively report information to top management
- Prepare journal entries in support of monthly financial close processes
- Support Group Controller's efforts in implementing and maintaining internal controls for operations and finance
What Will You Bring:
- 3 years of Financial Planning & Analysis, accounting, or management consulting experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, advanced Excel skills, experience with an ERP system and Business Intelligence Tools
