Lean Manufacturing Specialist assists with the implementation of Lean Manufacturing goals and strategies for improving the operations and processes within the organization. Evaluates all continuous improvement activities and implements plans to optimize performance and processes. Being a Lean Manufacturing Specialist employs Lean methodologies and tools in order to accomplish business objectives. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Lean Manufacturing Specialist also requires training and Lean certification through an accredited organization. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. To be a Lean Manufacturing Specialist typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience. Gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. What you’ll be working on
· Assisting with the production of our awesome stock scenic products which includes CNC operation, use of hand tools, molding etc.
· Assisting with the creation of incredible one-of-a-kind custom items!
· Operating our forklifts.
· Preparing orders for shipping.
· Driving our company van for deliveries and picking up from suppliers.
· Assisting with on-site installation when required.
· Learning about our specialist lighting products including their operation, maintenance and repairs.

What skills you should have
No direct experience is preferred (however if you do have experience, we are willing to invest time into training you how not to do it). A coachable attitude and driven personality are far more important to use than having previous experience.
