Lean Manufacturing Specialist jobs in Parkersburg, WV

• Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
• Use historical cost data to estimate costs for current or future projects.
• Consult with vendors and personnel in other departments to formulate estimates and resolve issues.
• Confer with customers, salespeople, and customer service to ensure customer requirements are being met.
• Confer with engineers, owners, and others on changes and adjustments to cost estimates.
• Assess cost effectiveness of projects or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops.
• Set up cost monitoring and reporting systems and procedures.
• Review material and labor requirements to decide whether it is more cost-effective to produce or purchase components.
