Lean Manufacturing Specialist assists with the implementation of Lean Manufacturing goals and strategies for improving the operations and processes within the organization. Evaluates all continuous improvement activities and implements plans to optimize performance and processes. Being a Lean Manufacturing Specialist employs Lean methodologies and tools in order to accomplish business objectives. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Lean Manufacturing Specialist also requires training and Lean certification through an accredited organization. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. To be a Lean Manufacturing Specialist typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience. Gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. CME is looking for an Mechanical Engineering Interns (2-3) who under direct supervision designing and working hands on assisting with building products on the manufacturing floor as well as 3D printing. Your responsibilities may includes: design work, product packaging, creation & updating of BoMs, creation of work instructions, timed studies of assembly of product, use Dokuzi, etc.. We are looking smart, problem resolving, and highly detailed individuals who can consistently produce timely high-quality results that are accurate! Strong problem resolving and analytical skills which will allow them to produce imaginative and innovative solutions are musts for our interns.
