Lean Manufacturing Specialist jobs in Springfield, OH

Supports operations with Lean implementation using Lean methodologies and drives a culture of continuous improvement. Supports operations in training to improve process understanding and performance

• Develop and implement processes resulting in self-sustaining continuous improvement capability
• Conduct structured problem solving with team and develop solutions for improved performance
• Assist and/or lead trainings on the manufacturing process and continuous improvement with operators
• Develop and implement processes resulting in self-sustaining continuous improvement capabilities
• Assist operations with the statistical process as they relate to the specific process areas
• Assist and/or lead troubleshooting efforts with operators when systems are down or there is deviation from processes
• Develop the content, train, review and assist with implementation of continuous improvement tools and kaizen action plans

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Proficient personal computer skills.
• Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, & PowerPoint.
• Understanding of manufacturing best practices
• Maintenance background helpful but not required
