Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Sanitation/Manufacturing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing sanitation and production.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for cleaning production equipment and accessories.
- Responsible for maintenance and cleaning of warehouse areas.
- Keeps accurate sanitation records on file with management including equipment logbooks, area logs, and production records.
- Affixes status stickers to equipment and areas.
- Ensures OSHA compliance with chemical usage and cleaning agents are properly used.
- Monitors the cleaning chemicals to ensure containers are properly labeled and they are stored in a secure location.
- Ensures compliance with the company’s personnel protective equipment guidelines.
- Works with QC on cleaning verification methods and techniques
- Identifies problems and develops appropriate solutions.
- Constantly seeks ways to improve operations.
- Load and unload items from machines, carts, and dollies
- Reports issues or problems with production to immediate supervisor.
- Assists in batching of raw materials for specific products
- Assist in maintenance of production equipment
- Organize and maintain systematic storage of material.
- Ensure conformance to product specifications, cGMP, and safety regulations.
- Locate opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Assist in set-up and operations of Manufacturing /Production equipment and lines
Experience:
- A keen eye for detail
- Responsible and trustworthy
- Ability to work autonomously and under pressure
- Computer knowledge
- High school degree or equivalent
- Sanitation Certification and/or 3-year experience a plus.
- Working knowledge of cGMP’s, a plus.
- HACCP certification a plus
