Lean Manufacturing Specialist, Sr. implements Lean Manufacturing goals and strategies for improving the operations and processes within the organization. Evaluates all continuous improvement activities and develops plans to optimize performance and processes. Being a Lean Manufacturing Specialist, Sr. employs Lean methodologies and tools in order to accomplish business objectives. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Lean Manufacturing Specialist, Sr. also requires training and Lean certification through an accredited organization. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. We have a full-time opening on first shift for a shipping and receiving specialist to track and assist with moving product into and out of our climate-controlled facility. This position entails a combination of computer work, paperwork, and physical labor. A good driving record and a valid driver’s license are required.
Hours are 6:00 am-3:00 pm Monday-Friday, with paid breaks during every shift. Pay range is $20 to $25 per hour depending on qualifications. Benefits include 401(k) with match, quarterly profit sharing, paid time off, health insurance, and a health reimbursement account (HRA) for dental and vision.
Primary responsibilities include serving as the driver for deliveries and pickups in the local area, as well as the backup for the S&R specialist currently on staff. Experience using JobBOSS and QuickBooks is a bonus, but not required. We will train the right individual who does not have any experience.

Additional responsibilities include:
· Create labels, packing lists and bills of lading
· Call vendors for pickups
· Pack and wrap skids of finished products
· Unload trucks with forklift or straps
· Confirm paperwork for incoming materials and outgoing deliveries
· Bring materials to appropriate production machines
