Additionally, Lean Manufacturing Specialist, Sr. also requires training and Lean certification through an accredited organization. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Description
· Develops and administers policies and procedures for evaluating and improving the quality of products, materials, components and/or manufacturing processes.
· Responsible for the implementation of policies and procedures to ensure adherence to production quality standards.
· Monitors and audits process, material, and product testing against established standards and conducts a continuous analysis of quality defects and deviations.
· Identifies deficiencies or gaps in testing activities and develops solutions to ensure adequate and robust quality processes.
· Makes recommendations to ensure production runs meet established quality standards and predicted yields.
· May be responsible for ensuring products meet international quality standards such as ISO 9001/13485.
· Optimizes processes to comply with existing and new regulatory requirements.
· Other duties as needed.
