Leasing Manager Job description
The primary responsibilities of the Leasing Manager will involves directing and managing the Leasing Team. The Leasing Manager also takes an active role in Leasing Consultant training, Rent and Concession budgeting.
Basic responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Greeting all residents, future residents and internal team members in a professional manner
· Support the Manager in recurring accounting functions and processing of customer service reports.
· Assist the Manager with coordination of day-to-day activities in accordance with standards established by the Manager.
· Assisting with monthly resident renewals including generating renewal rates and resident follow-up.
· Keeping a high level of service in mind with every task while resolving conflict to benefit all concerned parties
· Facilitating all aspects in the apartment leasing process
· Advertisement Review for Accuracy
· Review Leasing Consultant Surveys: Prospect and Move-in Surveys
· Review Leasing Consultant Shop Reports and Recorded Phone Calls
· Review and Approve Daily Unit Rates and Concessions to ensure inline with Budget.
· Vigilant tracking of market trends and implementation of said tracking through outreach and market surveys.
If necessary, the Leasing Manager may also be called upon for the following:
· Execute a successful renewal program and effectively communicate the program to residents
· Assist in maintaining office clerical, filing and record keeping systems.
Ideal candidates will have:
· 2 years Managerial Experience
· 3 years apartment leasing experience
· Proven sales track record, including excellent customer service skills
· Ability to multi-task with excellent follow through to pending issues
· Projection of a professional image by following dress code and appearance standards as set forth by the community
· Basic typing and clerical skills
· A positive, upbeat attitude
· Excellent Communication Skills with proven effectiveness
· Familiarity with Onesite and Yieldstar
Physical Requirements: Extensive mobility required. Must be able to perform the physical functions of the position, which may include, but are not limited to: ability to walk property, including 6 flights of stairs, to complete physical inspections, deliver resident communications, and show apartments.
