Leasing Administration Manager supervises a team of leasing administrators to ensure monthly rents are paid and all leasing activities are in accordance with policies and guidelines. Coordinates charges with landlords and works with senior management on occupancy decisions. Being a Leasing Administration Manager oversees completion of all necessary paperwork and ensures proper customer service. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Leasing Administration Manager typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Leasing Administration Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes.     Physical Demands

    The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The position requires lifting heavy objects, walks, sit, balance, and stands for long periods of time. The employee lifts, pushes, pulls or carries objects and effectively bends, twists and climbs flights of stairs.

    Frequently lifts items more than twenty-five pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The position requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multi-limb coordination

    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

    This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work vary based on the number of units. This position is

    expected to be on-call for onsite emergencies.

    Travel

    Local travel during the business day is expected, minimal overnight travel may be required.

    Required Education and Experience

    High School diploma or equivalent

    No property management experience required, candidate will receive on the job training

    • Working Computer Skills (Microsoft Suite, email, faxing, scanning, etc.)
    • High level of conflict management skills
    • Ability to multitask and perform under pressure
    • Outstanding written verbal phone and email etiquette
    • Self-motivated, self-starter

    Ability to work without direct supervision or alone

    Must have comprehension skills in order to understand the procedure book and other policies Levelheaded in emergency situations and professional in a court setting

    Experience working with people from different backgrounds and cultures, ability to manage up and down and keep a friendly outlook.

    Preferred Education and Experience

    Courses in real estate.

    Some college

    Experience in property Management

    Responsibilities assigned to this position may include:

    • Meet with prospective renters and take them on tours of the units that interest them.
    • Prepare and execute leases in accordance with our property standards and regulations.
    • Collect application fees, security deposits and rent payments.
    • Coordinate property maintenance.
    • Inform residents of any changes to the rental agreement or upcoming problems with the property.
    • Follow up with prospective renters.
    • Establish rapport with tenants and provide personalized service.
    • Monitor use of community facilities, including laundry.
    • Handling all other duties assigned, including actions to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and company policies.

    Starting pay depending on experience. Fulltime employees are eligible for benefit packages after 90 days, Medical offered after 60 days. Benefits include Paid time off, Health, Dental and Vision plans, 401K plan matching up to 6%, Paid Holidays, Employee only Life insurance plan (no cost to the employee for this plan), Potential for raise after 90 day evaluation.
