The Leasing Consultant plays a crucial role as the representative of the property, effectively communicating the community's features and benefits to potential tenants. Key Responsibilities:
1. Foster a professional and friendly atmosphere in the leasing office and other resident meeting areas.
2. Conduct daily inspections of model units and "market ready" vacancies to ensure cleanliness and presentation.
3. Provide prompt responses to all communications received.
4. Maintain a solid understanding of local market conditions.
5. Thoroughly and accurately complete all lease documents and applicant communication.
6. Follow up with prospective tenants to ensure their needs are met and inquiries are addressed.
7. Attend and complete monthly training programs, including Federal Fair Housing classes and Leasing classes.
8. Participate in assigned outreach marketing initiatives and ensure their successful implementation.
9. Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure timely resolution of any move-in condition deficiencies.
10. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and all applicable laws, including Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act, and Fair Credit Reporting Act.
11. Perform any additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience:
1. Strong attention to detail and meticulousness in handling tasks.
2. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products.
