Job Summary: As a Leasing Agent at My Management (My Management Company) your position is integral to the success of our residential management operations. This position entails a wide range of responsibilities focused on property leasing, tenant relations, record keeping and administrative support. The Leasing Agent acts as a key liaison between the tenants and the management company, upholding a high standard of professionalism and positivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Property Showings: Conduct tours of properties for potential tenants, effectively showcasing the features and amenities of each unit and community.
• Lease Processing: Manage the processing of tenant applications, including background checks, Debt-to-Income ratios (DTIs), and previous landlord verifications; then coordinate lease signings with approved tenants.
• Tenant Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for tenant inquiries, addressing questions and concerns promptly and courteously, and forwarding otherwise questions to the relevant departments.
• Lease Management: Assist in handling lease renewals, coordinating move-ins and move-outs, and ensuring smooth transitions for tenants.
• Notice and Violation Management: Issue 3-day notices as required, handle lease violations, and assist the Property Manager in the enforcement of property rules and regulations in a fair and consistent manner.
• Property Inspections: Assist when asked in performing regular inspections of properties to ensure compliance with maintenance and safety standards.
• Administrative Support: Answer phone calls, maintain accurate tenant records, and assist in logging property maintenance requests.
• Communication: Maintain effective communication between tenants and the management team, fostering positive relationships and a welcoming community environment.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the property management team to implement effective leasing strategies, advertisements and policies.
• Other Assigned Tasks: Perform additional tasks related to the department/position as assigned by the Senior Leasing Agent, Property Manager or other equivalent management. These tasks may vary and support the department's overall goals.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
