Position Summary:
This position is responsible for the marketing and showing of commercial real estate (primarily office and industrial) and the negotiation and execution of lease transactions, as well as the maintenance of information and documentation related to current and prospective tenants, and acting as a primary interface for current and prospective tenants.
Working Conditions:
General office and sedentary. Ability to occasionally travel locally and domestically to and from meetings and/or other business-related events. Use of personal computing equipment, telephone, multi-functioning printer and calculator. Manual dexterity, ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
Essential Functions:
- Prepares materials needed for leasing activities, such as conference materials, correspondence, appointments, meetings, and phone calls
- Ensures the Senior Leasing Manager and the organization stays informed about commercial real estate market and tenant industry trends by reading industry publications, regulations and directives and takes appropriate action or refers important information to executive and staff.
- Conduct analysis of existing inventory and available properties to ensure that lease rates and terms are appropriate for the market
- Prepares and updates marketing materials for property flyers. Ensure that available space is being appropriately marketed and that internal and external (listing agent) posted marketing materials are accurate and up to date.
- Coordinates the preparation and execution of lease documents and ensures the proper maintenance of lease documents and support files
- Manages the planning and execution of tenant events, industry trade events, and property tours.
- Manages the lease prospect database and ensures that prospect and transaction information is accurate and up to date.
- Prepares property related reports, summaries, or responses to inquiries from internal and external customers as needed.
- Interfaces with prospective tenants on lease-related calls and inquiries
- Provides reports at weekly leasing meetings regarding prospective tenants and updates on transactions
- Interface with prospective tenants to determine space needs and negotiate lease terms in coordination with Senior Leasing Manager.
- Draft leasing documents including lease proposals, leases, licenses, commission agreements, responses to RFPs, and other leasing documents
- Prepare detailed budgets for tenant improvement projects as needed
- Interfaces with existing tenants, addressing questions and concerns, and ensuring high level of tenant satisfaction
- Verify financial and entity information provided by prospective tenants

Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, real estate, or related field.
Experience: 2 to 5 years experience in commercial real estate(primarily office and industrial) leasing or lease administration.
License & Certification: Must have Class C driver license.
