Job Summary:
As a Manufacturing Recruiter, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, attracting, and securing top talent for our manufacturing operations. This included but is not limited to advanced assembly, welding, shipping and material handling, truck driving, and office positions. You will collaborate closely with hiring managers and department heads to understand staffing needs, develop effective recruitment strategies, and ensure a seamless hiring process. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the manufacturing industry, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of successful recruiting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Hiring Managers and Department Supervisor: Work closely with hiring managers to understand staffing requirements, departmental needs, and long-term recruitment goals.
- Candidate Sourcing: Utilize various channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and industry associations, to actively source and attract top-tier talent.
- Candidate Screening: Conduct thorough interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit. Present a qualified shortlist to hiring managers.
- Talent Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline for critical manufacturing roles, anticipating future staffing needs and ensuring a continuous pool of qualified candidates.
- Employer Branding: Contribute to the development and execution of employer branding initiatives to enhance [Company Name]'s reputation as an employer of choice in the manufacturing sector.
- Recruitment Metrics: Track and report on key recruitment metrics to measure the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and identify areas for improvement.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws, regulations, and company policies throughout the recruitment process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not necessary.
- Proven experience as a recruiter, with a focus on manufacturing or related industries.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, technologies, and job roles.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
- Proven track record of meeting recruitment targets and deadlines.
- Knowledge of current recruiting trends and best practices.
