    POSITION/APPLICATION INFORMATION: This is a full-time, 12–month, unclassified staff position. The appointment is available immediately.

    REPORTING AUTHORITY: Director of Recruiting

    POSITION DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Counsel prospective students with regard to admissions, transfer credit, residency, and other university polices
    • Assist prospective students in person, over the phone, texting, video messaging, and via email
    • Manage a recruitment territory by managing the number of inquiries, applicants, and enrolled students
    • Enter prospective student data into the Student Information System and/or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system as well as maintain and run reports for the assigned territories
    • Maintain current knowledge of Banner (Student Information System), Recruit (CRM), BDM (scanning system), Argos, and other systems used by the University
    • Travel during and after normal business hours and overnights to represent the university at recruitment events and activities year round
    • Prepare and send correspondence to applicants
    • Maintain recruiting reports for all recruiting events attended
    • Conduct recruitment presentations on and off campus
    • Schedule and conduct personal campus tours as well as large group tours
    • Build mutually beneficial, positive working relationships with assigned high school counselors and counterparts at other institutions
    • Maintain a positive working relationship with faculty and staff in all departments
    • Organize and plan outreach opportunities with community leaders, organizations, and groups
    • Plan travel according to state travel guidelines
    • Conduct all duties in a manner which provides a positive reflection of the University
    • Complete all other duties as assigned by the Director of Recruiting or the Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management

    REQUIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    Required:

    • Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Willing to extensively travel and work non-traditional hours
    • Highly self-motivated
    • Effective multi-tasking and organizational skills
    • Ability to lift 30 lbs on a regular basis;
    • Valid driver’s license, excellent driving record, and access to reliable transportation.
