Join our legal team as a Part-Time Legal Assistant. You will engage in a variety of responsibilities that are essential to the efficient functioning of our practice. If you are a detail-oriented and organized individual with excellent multitasking abilities, this opportunity offers an enriching experience in a fast-paced legal environment.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Perform routine clerical tasks such as photocopying, faxing, labeling, and maintaining records.
• Answering telephone calls
• Data entry (opening and closing of files)
• Preparing demands to be sent to PIP Carriers and filing lawsuits
• Scheduling hearings and depositions with opposing counsel, judicial assistants, and clients.
• Preparing and responding to multiple discovery requests and procedural motions.

Applicant requirements:

• Must have a High School Diploma
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail
• Organized and self-motivated with the capacity to work independently.
• Experience with the Florida e-filing portal system. (preferred)
• Must be bilingual (English/Spanish).
• Must be proactive, and have a positive attitude with good customer service skills.
• Must have a good working level of computer skills in Word, Excel and Outlook
