  • Develops and implements effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent across all levels of the organization.  Primarily responsible for the planning, organizing and fulfillment of operational/manufacturing labor needs. Key duties of the position will focus on internal & external recruiting needs & processes. 

     

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Manages the recruiting, interviewing, and on boarding for hourly manufacturing positions; directs the flow within the recruiting team.
    • Owns the interview process (resume screens, phone screens, onsite interviews, offers, and hiring decisions)
    • Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, etc.
    • Ensures the staffing needs of the company are being met, using research and creativity to meet current needs, with a long-term approach in mind.
    • Devises sourcing strategies to build pipelines of potential and future applicants.
    • Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
    • Works with HR team & Wellness Committee to effectively promote internal programs and resources for optimal engagement and utilization of wellness initiatives.

    Job Requirements

    • Hybrid potential: 3 days onsite required.
    • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred
    • At least 2 years’ experience in recruitment, staffing, PR, or brand management
    • Knowledge of recruitment marketing strategies and employer branding
    • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and good negotiation tactics
    • Experience with social media advertising platforms, including LinkedIn and Facebook
    • Candidate outreach/ “headhunting” experience is strongly preferred.
    • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative and be creative.

    Physical Work Conditions

    • While walking on production floor there will be fumes and chemicals. 
    • Office work requires sitting at a desk, using a computer and phone.
