Mecham Law Firm, a full-service boutique immigration law firm, is seeking an experienced Immigration Paralegal or secretary in Gulfport, MS.

Position Summary: The Paralegal will prepare immigration paperwork for timely filing with various agencies and courts. Work in a fast-based, collaborative team-oriented environment with extensive phone and email client contact. Utilize firm resources and other available case management tools to prioritize, monitor, and successfully manage a caseload. This is a customer-service focused role providing a high level of service to our clients.

Requirements or Qualifications:

• Bilingual Candidates preferred (English/Spanish).
• Experience with Immigration Court, Family Petitions, Waivers, Consular Process and/or Asylum preferred.
• Proven ability to handle confidential information, personal integrity, excellent judgement and high ethical standards.
• Demonstrated strong communication, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to dive into complex, ambiguous situations and bring them to an effective resolution.
• Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume office environment with competing demands.
• Must be passionate and positive about immigration.
• Annual performance bonuses and salary increases (start pay is flexible based upon experience)
