Job Title: Legal Secretary II

Job Description:
· Coordinating file management, including the ability to read and comprehend legal documents, dockets and case files to catalogue, organize, and summarize regulatory litigation files in a meaningful way.
· Assisting with the development and execution of a file retention program, which may include electronic or hard copies, on or offsite, and cataloguing, etc.
· Communicating effectively with designated individuals regarding their responsibility to respond to discovery and to ensure that deadlines are being met.
· Tracking of discovery to provide detailed reports at least on a weekly basis utilizing SharePoint and Excel.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or GED required.
· Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
· Minimum 2 years professional work experience with legal background required.
· ABA Paralegal Certification or equivalent preferred.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and OneDrive) and Adobe Acrobat.
· Experience in working with state public utility commission or administrative agency matters preferred.
· Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments.
· Strong attention to detail required.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
