The Washington State Archives preserves and provides the people of Washington with easy access to millions of legal and historical records of our state and local governments. Washington's Digital Archives is the first of its kind in the nation and accessible worldwide via the web.
Citizens depend on the Archives to research genealogy, state and city history, property transfers, legislative intent, court records, and academic projects. Archives branches are on the Capital Campus in Olympia and college campuses around the state.
The Office of Secretary of State (OSOS) offers some of the most unique and diverse job opportunities in state government. ALL Foundation Administrator, Program Specialist 5
Full-time, Permanent
This position reports to the State Archivist and independently oversees administration of the ALL Foundation, cultivates relationships with board members, manages all financials, and oversees Archives, Legacy Washington’s and Library ALL Foundation) WTBBL’s private fundraising arm. The ALL Foundation supports the programs, collections and missions of the Archives, Library, Washington Talking Book & Braille Library, and Legacy Washington and serves as the fiduciary for funds raised specifically to support these programs and collections. This position also oversees the creative design and the video component for Legacy Washington and outreach of Archives.

Working Conditions:
Works primarily in an office environment with a standard laptop computer. Standard core business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with the ability to work some evenings and weekends to support activities, events, and presentations, which are generally scheduled in advance. Some statewide travel may be required to support exhibits and events. Incumbent must be able to maneuver objects weighing 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
