Fulbright Winniford PC is a small close-knit law firm located in Waco, TX. Our primary are of practice is comprised of insurance defense litigation.

Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the legal field and possess strong organizational and administrative skills.

Duties:

- Assist attorneys with legal case management including ensuring deadlines are met and cases are progressing efficiently

- Assist in the preparation of discovery responses and pleadings

- Transcribe correspondence to clients, opposing counsel, and third parties

- Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties to set up various meeting, hearings, etc.

- Conduct legal research using resources such as Westlaw

- Write summaries of legal documents

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant is preferred

- Proficient in organizational and administrative tasks

- Familiarity with E-file Texas, Westlaw, and other legal managment systems

-Familiarity with Word, Word Perfect, and Outlook

- Ability to transcribe accurately and efficiently

- Strong interpersonal skills for managing clients, opposing counsel, and third parties

- Excellent written communication skills for drafting correspondence and summarizing legal documents

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
