Lending Officer conducts lending activities for an assigned market or geographic area. Develops a pipeline of customers through referrals, inquiries, and outreach. Being a Lending Officer performs a due diligence review of potential borrowers, including a risk and financial analysis. Structures loan proposals, prepares credit memos, and presents to loan committee for approval. Additionally, Lending Officer may manage a portfolio of existing loans, including reviewing financial reporting, monitoring compliance with loan terms, and handling loan modifications or workouts. Ensures adherence to regulations, bank credit policies, and procedures. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Lending Officer work is closely managed.     Hourly:
    $16.50 - $23.00
    The base hourly range represents the low and high end of the anticipated hourly range for this position based on the state average. The actual base hourly offered for this full-time position will be determined by various factors, including but not limited to, location, skills, knowledge, competencies, and experience.

    Hours
    : Full Time, Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm with an occasional evening or Saturday.

    Responsibilities:
    What you will be doing:
    • Welcome and assist every customer in a professional manner
    • Process loan applications, ensuring completeness and accuracy
    • Educate and upsell customers on all product offerings including loan options and insurance products
    • Review and collect on delinquent accounts to identify and address trends or problems
    • Promote loans to both existing and new customers through solicitation calls
    • Help train new team members and identify training opportunities
    • Complete administrative duties and generate reports
    • Assist the District Manager and Branch Manager in all facets of branch operations and step in as a backup manager when needed

    Qualifications:
    What you should have:
    • Ability to travel between branch locations with reliable transportation
    • Ability to provide excellent customer service and build relationships
    • Prior experience in sales, collections, finance, or banking field preferred
    • Ability to multitask and effectively manage time
    • High School diploma or equivalent
