Description : Job Description : Under direct supervision, performs a wide variety of credit and collection functions. Following established guidelines, takes action to recover delinquent accounts.
Gathers, compiles, and maintains basic credit information. Contacts customers regarding delinquent payments and prepares reports reflecting status of credit and collection activity.
Exercises considerable discretion in collection activities but must obtain internal approvals for refinancing and repossessions.
Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner.
Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.

Primary Tasks : Reviews accounts for proper payments, identifies potential credit problems, minimizes debt exposure to company and establishes or changes credit terms based on performance.
Analyze and interpret numerical data and perform financial analysis. Assist in reconciling accounts. Analyze and monitor credit status of accounts based on credit terms and days sales outstanding.
