Provides support to lending officers and trade specialists. Additionally, Letter of Credit Officer may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.     Illumiletter Wholesale Sign Company is currently looking for a full-time sign assembler, to add to our dynamic manufacturing team in Yakima, Wa. We are a fast paced, team oriented environment, with multi-faceted projects. This job opportunity consists of various duties in support of a high volume sign shop.

    Job Summary: The position of Letter Fabricator is responsible for the fabrication and assembly of channel letters or cabinets, light installation, trip-cap and mounting of channel letters.

    Responsibilities of Letter Fabricator:

    • Operate bender to produce returns for channel letters
    • Channel letter bending and assembly
    • Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings and schematics
    • Inspect channel letter back produced by router
    • Glue trim cap to plastic Using specialized material bond plastic trim-cap to acrylic sign faces
    • Electrical wiring –Install lights/wiring in channel letters
    • Install power supplies and wiring to raceway
    • Test lighting installed in channel letters
    • Ability to understand and make letter drill/mount patterns
    • Maintain work area and machinery/tools in good working condition
    • Operation of the following tools: metal shear, metal break, radial saws, iron worker, welder, band saw, jig saw drills, grinders as well as other miscellaneous hand tools
    • Follow the rules and regulations related to the safety of all employees working for the Company
    • Adherence to all mandated safety procedures including: driving policy, production area safety requirements and fire safety
    • Safety requires all employees to review materials provided by the Company related to any updates on safety procedures
    • Informs management of any safety related issues
    • Ensures safety of self and others through proper use and care of equipment/work area
    • Handles and operates all equipment in a careful and safe manner
    • Maintains tools and equipment in good working order and stores them properly
    • Keeps all work areas neat and clear of potential hazards
    • Other duties as assigned

    • Knowledge of packing/crating procedures

The noise level in the work environment can be loud. The use of hearing protection and safety eyewear is required. The use of additional specific safety equipment may be required.
