    Summary:
    Must be able to operate machinery which includes the ability to maintain, operator and / or set-up.  Candidates should be technically-inclined with the ability to properly utilize tools and machinery as well as the ability to analyze situations and solutions.  Candidates for this position should be detail-oriented and willing to learn.  Machine Operators should be able to follow instructions, work with others, and help ensure that all safety regulations are followed.  

    Job Responsibilities include: 
    • Perform duties to set up, adjust, and operate an aluminum welded tube mill, quality lab equipment, drive a lift-truck and determine appropriate settings and operational sequences, within the limitations of standard methods and procedures.
    • Operate control panel for tube mill, annealed and induction welder. Sets and monitors temperature for in-line annealer and induction welder.
    • Set-up, operate, and adjust parameters of welded tube mill equipment and tooling to maximize efficiency and quality requirements.
    • Execute and record all production/ quality checks required. Performs dimensional and visual inspection of samples provided for beginning/ end of production runs and follows written procedures for documenting weld integrity.
    • Assist in the process examination, quality documentation, and root cause analysis.
    • Assist in equipment validations, safety and quality audits
     Job Requirements:
    • Previous experience performing burst testing and flare testing
    • Previous welded tubing experience required.
    • Ability to add, subtract, multiple, and divide numbers including decimals and fractions, and the ability to use a calculator
    • Ability to use measuring instruments, such as micrometers, and calipers, where interpretation is required.
    • Good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
     Education and Work Requirements:
    • Standing for long periods of time, walking, use of hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands or arms, repetitive motion, close visual acuity, stoop, kneel or crouch
    • Employee frequently lifts or moves up to 25 pounds and occasional lifts or moves up to 50 pounds
    • Exposure to high frequency induction fields (welding and annealer)
    • Ability to identify and distinguish colors, specifically red
