Description

The Event Set-Up Crew is responsible for the set-up and teardown of event functions within SkyPark, such as summer concerts and private parties. The event set-up crew will report to the Event Logistics Manager

This position is Seasonal/Temporary and requires availability on weekends and holidays.

Job Duties:

• Handles setups and teardowns of equipment, supplies, and other materials as necessary for operational needs and venue operations.
• Assists in the maintenance and inventory control for all venue operational assets.
• Assists with the general overall upkeep of venue equipment.
• Operates heavy equipment including but not limited to forklifts, pallet jacks (manual and motorized), boom lifts, scissor lifts, and reach forks.
• Complies to all safety policies, procedures, and protocols when executing on work duties and responsibilities.
• Provides excellent customer service across all venues and SkyPark property.
• Perform additional job duties as necessary and relevant.
• Prepare all venue areas for daily and future events.
• Maintain venue areas including cleaning floors, vacuuming, cleaning walls, windows and mirrors.
• Secure items in proper storage areas at the end of each event.

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and execute while under time constraints.
• Able to effectively communicate in a clear and concise manner.
• Ability to multi-task and effectively maneuver between functions.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Able to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
• Flexible schedule; available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Experience working in similar work environment preferred.
• Must display the ability to collaborate with the team and execute each event with highest level of professionalism.
• Must have strong communication skills and display customer service.
• Must have exceptional hygiene and grooming habits.
