Job Position Description

• This is a part-time hybrid role for a Librarian. The Librarian will be responsible for library collection management and development.
• Develop the collection of print and electronic information resources by selecting, de-selecting, developing, and cataloging, classifying library resources.
• Review and evaluate materials using book reviews and faculty recommendations for selecting print, electronic, audio-visual resources.
• Develop special collections: theology and music collection.
• This is a hybrid role with some work from home opportunity but the role is primarily located in Lexington, MO

Qualifications

• Library Science Degree (e.g. MLS/MLIS)
• Expertise in Library Science and Library Management
• Understanding of Library Information Systems and familiarity with available resources
• Relevant skills and qualifications that would be beneficial include experience with cataloging and supervising staff
