Being a Librarian - Higher Ed. provides descriptive records, subject headings, and classification numbers to facilitate the access of library materials. Requires a master's degree of library science. Additionally, Librarian - Higher Ed. typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Librarian - Higher Ed. gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Hruska Public Library Children’s Librarian
This is a part-time position with 20 hours a week, including every other Saturday morning. The primary responsibility of this position is the coordination and the implementation of the Library’s services for children, preschool through young adult, but work at the circulation desk is also required.
Permanent part-time benefits are available with this position, which include vacation, sick leave, holiday pay, and retirement.
