Library Researcher jobs in Longview, TX

Oversee the administration of district library/media centers and coordinate the delivery of library/media services to meet the educational needs of all students. Ensure that services and resources that allow students to develop skills in locating, evaluating, synthesis

Education/Certification:

• High school diploma or hold a General Educational Development (GED) certificate

• Have met formal academic assessment, associate's degree, or two years of study at an institution of higher learning*

Special Knowledge/Skills:

• Proficient keyboarding and file maintenance skills

• Ability to shelve books following the district cataloging system

• Ability to work well with children

• Effective, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Experience:

• Experience working with children and clerical experience is preferred but not required, and using information is provided.
