Job Overview:

MittenUp is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Recipe Developer to join our culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, and perfecting recipes that align with our commitment to providing healthy, delicious, and easy-to-prepare meals for busy families. This role requires a deep understanding of nutrition, culinary techniques, and the ability to innovate within dietary restrictions.

Duties:

• Develop new recipes that are nutritious, appealing, and align with specific dietary needs and preferences of our clients.
• Work closely with other team members to ensure that all recipes meet nutritional guidelines and health goals.
• Document cooking methods, ingredients, and other necessary details for each recipe in a clear and concise manner.
• On some occasions, conduct taste tests and make adjustments to recipes based on feedback.
• Stay up-to-date with current culinary trends and incorporate them into recipe development to keep offerings fresh and exciting.
• Collaborate with the content team to produce engaging recipe content for various platforms, including social media and the company website.

Requirements:

• Professional culinary degree or equivalent experience in a culinary arts program.
• Proven experience as a recipe developer, chef, or in a similar role with a strong portfolio of developed recipes.
• Excellent understanding of nutritional values and the ability to create recipes that are both healthy and delicious.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Creative mindset with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
