Library Services Coordinator oversees library service offerings designed to meet the needs of a specific user population. Ensures resource availability and implements new programs to meet service gaps. Being a Library Services Coordinator assists groups and individuals in locating, delivery, and obtaining materials. Establish and maintains cooperative agreements between the college and area libraries. Additionally, Library Services Coordinator graduates from an ALA-accredited school. Requires a master's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Library Services Coordinator gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Position Overview
$16.00/hour – 2 Positions
Work Schedules:
- Position #1 – 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday
- Position #2 – 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 8:15 a.m. – 5:15 p.m. on Saturday
Position is 40 hours per week beginning May 20, 2024 through August 5, 2024. Applicants must be at least 16 years of age. Applicants must be able to maintain a pleasant customer service attitude in an extremely busy environment. The Children’s Services Aide must be able to work successfully with children, tweens, teens, and their parents. This position may also assist with bike library programs and community outreach events.
