Idaho Falls Community Hospital is looking for a Surgical Services Staff Coordinator to join our team!

JOB SUMMARY:         The staffing coordinator is responsible for managing day to day scheduling for all surgical services units, (Pre-op, PACU, OR, PAT, and CS). The staffing coordinator will work directly with surgical services CTL, surgical services Supervisor, and surgical services Manager to ensure adequate staffing for all surgical services units.

Please note benefits are based on eligibility according to full-time, part-time or PRN status classification.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure day to day staffing is complete for 24 hour periods, while scheduling employees for their required FTE’s.
• Accurate record keeping of staff on-call/low census/sick calls.
• Coordinate with leadership team and CTL to accommodate staffing for sick calls, and other unforeseen variances.
• Coordinate with surgical services leadership team for staff time off requests prior to scheduling.
• Assist department manager with other reports as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education/Certification: High School Diploma or equivalency. Complete BLS upon hire.                                                 

Experience: At Manager’s discretion. Candidates with minimal experience, but high performers may be eligible for this position.

Equipment/Technology: Microsoft Office Suite, Proficient computer based knowledge.
