Library Services Coordinator oversees library service offerings designed to meet the needs of a specific user population. Ensures resource availability and implements new programs to meet service gaps. Being a Library Services Coordinator assists groups and individuals in locating, delivery, and obtaining materials. Establish and maintains cooperative agreements between the college and area libraries. Additionally, Library Services Coordinator graduates from an ALA-accredited school. Requires a master's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Library Services Coordinator gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Summary
The Library Technician is responsible for providing circulation services to Midwestern University patrons. As the main customer service face of the library, this individual is a major information point for the whole campus, answering questions from all students, faculty, and staff in person, by phone, by live chat, and by email.

Education and/or Experience
The individual must have a Bachelor’s degree or Library Technical Assistant Certification with 1 year of related experience or an Associate’s degree with 2-3 years of related library experience is required. A Bachelor’s degree with 1 year of related experience is desired. Experience working in a team and customer service-oriented environment. Excellent customer service, written and verbal communication skills.
Computer Skills
Computer proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Integrated Interlibrary Loan Systems (ILLiad, Docline, OCLC), and Library ILS systems. Familiarity with general database functionality.
