Higher Information Group in Harrisburg, PA has an exciting opportunity for a Driver seeking to work for a fast-growing company.

DELIVERY DRIVER JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate an automatic 26-foot box truck in a safe manner including daily inspection of the vehicle.
• Review orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete and the customer is satisfied.
• Load, transport and deliver items to customer locations in a safe, timely manner.
• Adhere to all assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws.
• Vehicles should be cleaned and properly maintained including but not limited to oil changes, inspections, tire rotations and brakes.
• Drivers should call all clients approximately 30 minutes prior to arriving at their location to remind them of the delivery.
• Other duties as assigned by Operations Manager which will include, working in Document Storage and cleaning up the warehouse.

DELIVERY DRIVER QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; previous delivery experience a plus.
• Valid driver's license issued by the state where you are working as well as a clean driving record.
• Must be able to lift, push and/or pull at least 100 lbs.
• Basic mechanical understanding preferred.
• Flexible work hours required.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Pre-employment, random and post-accident screening is required.
• Must be able to pass a background check/DOT Physical & Drug Test.
• Operate equipment and machines such as forklifts, and stair climber.
