- This is a working Pharmacy Director position for a 50-bed LTAC hospital located in Savannah, GA.
- Plan, direct and monitor all financial, operational, professional, and clinical activities of the department.
- Ensure that all pharmacy staff is currently licensed, certified, and/or registered and complies with all applicable regulations, policies and standards of the hospital and PharmaCare Services.
- Develops rapport with hospital staff and provides timely information relative to drugs, policies and standards of care that relate to medication use and safety.
- Keep current with State regulations regarding the practice of Pharmacy and implements changes as necessary to maintain compliance.
Requirements
- Hospital pharmacy experience (minimum two years preferred)
- Georgia State Board Pharmacist License
- Good computer skills and experience with pharmacy software
- Self-motivating and proven leadership ability
- Sterile Compounding Experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65.00 - $75.00 per hour
