Network Operations Specialist Job

Work Location:
Oak Ridge, TN. (Hybrid onsite and remote acceptable. Must live within driving distance of Oak Ridge, TN).

Compensation:
Salary is commensurate with education and experience.

Must Be U.S. Citizen

Must have a Security Clearance: DOE Q or DOD TS

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in engineering/science discipline with a minimum of 5 years of solutions architecture experience or equivalent combination of years of experience and education. Ten or more years of education and/or relevant experience may be considered to satisfy education and years of experience requirements.

Experience and Qualifications:

Must have an active DOE Q clearance or active TS clearance.

Must have Experience with Palo Alto Firewalls, Firewall Management, Network Troubleshooting and Network Traffic Analysis

Experience with firewall administration and rule cleanup null

Job Description

This is an onsite position working in Oak Ridge, TN for a client supporting a 4x10 Monday thru Thursday work week. This individual will configure and optimize network hubs, routers, and switches (e.g., higher-level protocols, tunneling). This individual will also Develop and implement network backup and recovery procedures, diagnose network connectivity problem install and maintain network infrastructure device operating system software (e.g., IOS, firmware).
