Library Technical Services Director implements use of technology for library technical services operations. Develops policy and plan regarding materials acquisition budget, cataloging, serials and electronic licensing. Being a Library Technical Services Director requires a master's degree. This position has primary responsibility for the daily operations and staff of the Technical Services Department. Performs original and copy cataloging in accordance with professional standards. Works public desks as assigned.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
Generally 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday – Friday, with some evening and weekend hours. This position will participate in the scheduled weekend work rotation.
