Production Control Assistant

Archnald, PA

Contract Position

Responsibilities :

• Sort, post, and file such paperwork as inventory records, production schedules, and other production control data.
• Keep records of number of units shipped and number of jobs in production.
• Estimate and log production rate and time expenditure of a department.
• May prepare shop orders indicating such factors as style, size, quantity, and priority.
• May review stock records, consumption figures, and detail schedules to determine stock status against program requirements.
• May prepare input forms for automated data processing system and may operate personal computer equipment.
• Perform other clerical tasks relating to duties.

Qualifications :

• Prior experience in purchasing, global supply chain role working with vendors
• Knowledge in and experience in different production systems environment
• SAP experience
• Preferred : Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
• Preferred : industry experience
• No degree required. High School diploma-or equivalent work experience
