Licensed Clinical Social Worker provides clinical social work services to patients and their families. Counsels and provides crisis intervention for patients, including assessment and treatment of emotional and behavioral problems. Being a Licensed Clinical Social Worker coaches patients on how to manage ongoing health conditions and provides therapy to help patients make positive behavior changes. Requires a master's degree in social work. Additionally, Licensed Clinical Social Worker requires Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Requires the applicable State License to Practice Clinical Social Work. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department.     Job Description

    As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with GuideStar Eldercare you will provide neurobehavioral health services to residents in long-term care facilities. Using a multi-disciplinary approach, you will partner with specialty clinicians to provide holistic, continuity of care for elderly individuals in extended care facilities who are afflicted with neurocognitive disorders and other neurologic and/or psychiatric conditions.

    Qualifications

    Master’s degree in Social Work
    Currently licensed as an LCSW in the state in which you are applying
