POSITION TITLE: Behavioral Health Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
NATURE OF POSITION:
The Licensed Clinical Social Worker is an important part of the COFMC team of providers. The LCSW provides COFMC clients with culturally competent and ethical psychotherapy to assist them in resolving interpersonal conflict and alleviating psychosocial stressors impacting all aspects of daily functioning.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s Degree from an accredited university in the area of Social Work (clinical specialty only), and current license as LCSW, LCSW-P, or LMSW under clinical Supervision or Supervision eligible. On site supervision is available.
Skills: ability to work independently, excellent oral and written communication skills, above average computer skills, above average knowledge of medical and psychological terminology, reliable transportation, and valid driver’s license.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct initial screenings, intakes and assessments of new clients;
Conduct necessary assessments for determination of DSM-V diagnosis;
Develop and maintain client treatment plans and reviews;
Provide individual, family, and group therapy to diverse populations of all ages;
Maintain and complete accurate and up to date progress notes for services rendered;
Attend staff meetings, trainings, and/or conferences as required by the BH Director;
Maintain professional licensures and certifications;
Assist with the Day Treatment program as needed;
Provide crisis intervention and emergency services as needed; and
Assist the Director of Behavioral Health in all other tasks and assignments as needed.
