Licensed Clinical Social Worker provides clinical social work services to patients and their families. Counsels and provides crisis intervention for patients, including assessment and treatment of emotional and behavioral problems. Being a Licensed Clinical Social Worker coaches patients on how to manage ongoing health conditions and provides therapy to help patients make positive behavior changes. Requires a master's degree in social work. Additionally, Licensed Clinical Social Worker requires Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Requires the applicable State License to Practice Clinical Social Work. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. We are looking for a full-time Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with a diverse population of clients, as well as a strong understanding of the social work profession.
The primary responsibilities of this position include:
- Providing individual, group, and family therapy to clients with a variety of mental health issues
- Conducting assessments and developing treatment plans
- This role will be the sole LCSW for this location
- Looking for a candidate that has background in clinical counseling
- This is a 24 hour position which can be 3 days per week with full benefits
Qualifications for this position include:
- A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW)
- A valid LCSW license in the state of Texas
- At least 2 years of experience working with a diverse population of clients
- Strong clinical skills and judgment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
