Licensed Practical Nurse - Home Care administers nursing care in a home care environment under the supervision of a registered nurse or other medical supervisor. Provides basic medical care, including changing bandages, administering medication, and collecting specimens. Being a Licensed Practical Nurse - Home Care ensures the health, comfort and safety of patients by assisting with bathing, feeding, and dressing. Monitors and reports changes in patient's condition to supervisor. Additionally, Licensed Practical Nurse - Home Care requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a registered nurse or supervisor. Requires graduation from approved LPN educational program. Requires a state license to practice. Licensed Practical Nurse - Home Care's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Certification and/or licensing in the position's specialty is the main requirement. What you will be doing as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Provide hands on advanced care in accordance with medical orders: tilt-table, advanced bowel programs, medication set ups, colostomy/catheter care, trachea care, feeding tubes, training and supervision of aides, etc.
- Work facility staffing shifts with our contracted facility partners
Some of our requirements:
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License through the state of Michigan
- 6 months recent, relevant experience (in Facility Staffing, or Home Care)
- Valid Driver’s License, and Auto Insurance (if applicable)
- Updated TB Test, agree to Covid-19 testing as required.
- Must be able to pass a background check
