Licensed Practical Nurse - Home Care administers nursing care in a home care environment under the supervision of a registered nurse or other medical supervisor. Provides basic medical care, including changing bandages, administering medication, and collecting specimens. Being a Licensed Practical Nurse - Home Care ensures the health, comfort and safety of patients by assisting with bathing, feeding, and dressing. Monitors and reports changes in patient's condition to supervisor. Additionally, Licensed Practical Nurse - Home Care requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a registered nurse or supervisor. Requires graduation from approved LPN educational program. Requires a state license to practice. Licensed Practical Nurse - Home Care's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Certification and/or licensing in the position's specialty is the main requirement. Position:
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Join our compassionate team at Venza Care, delivering exceptional support at Cullman Health Care Center As one of Venza Care's 17 facilities across Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Louisiana, we are dedicated to setting new standards in healthcare.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the nursing care in a particular department or shift
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
Supervise, guide, and mentor nursing staff to ensure adherence to standards and best practices
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
Monitor and adjust patient care plans as necessary
Lead communication with patients, families, and physicians regarding patient care
Qualifications:
Valid Alabama or Compact Licensed Practical Nurse license.
Experience as a charge nurse or similar leadership role preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
A commitment to providing high-quality care and hospitality
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary:
$24.00-$30.00/hr commensurate experience
